Call for Expert Trainers
Najjad Zeenni Information Technology Center of Excellence (NZITCE) invites applications from individuals wishing to serve as expert trainers for the Business Pre-incubation Centre at Birzeit University.
About NZITCE
The Najjad Zeenni Information Technology Center of Excellence (NZITCE) was established in April 2008 at Birzeit University to fully leverage opportunities presented by information technology to achieve economic development.
The NZITCE is working to play an integral and vital role as part of the educational arena to continuously empower students and community professionals - by crafting IT skills development programs, fostering entrepreneurship, and promoting IT innovation and ICT business acceleration.
About the Business Pre-incubation Centre at Birzeit University The Business Pre-incubation Centre, was established to solidify the preexisting partnership between Najjad Zeenni Information Technology Center of Excellence (NZITCE) at Birzeit University, and SPARK, a Dutch based nonprofit institution founded in 1994, in order to create new business models from the ground up, through highly motivated young Palestinians, who are given the opportunity to grow and receive professional advice regarding their business model and growth plans and strategies.
The project establishes a university-based technology business pre-incubator that will help solve the challenge facing Palestinian policy makers of how to encourage and educate more graduates and individuals to consider selfemployment as a career option, and as an alternative to the more traditional career patters of paid employment in the ICT sector.
Scope of work
Training will focus on various fields of business, including, but not limited to the follow fields:
- Accounting > Finance
- Entrepreneurship > Business Development
- Forecasting > Economics
- Management > Negotiation skills
-Business communications > Marketing
-Strategic Management > Project Management
- Innovative management > Identification of local business opportunities
- Business Law
The expert trainers are expected perform the following duties:
- Develop training material, in cooperation with the Business Pre-incubation Centre’s consultants.
- Develop clear learning objectives and a clear evaluation and assessment criteria.
- Disseminate training materials through lectures, seminar, experiments, and other relevant knowledge dissemination tools.
- Assess trainee’s development and performance via scientific multitier evaluation and assessment criteria.
- Provide guidance, support and counseling for trainees regarding relevant topics concerning their training.
Contract Duration:
The duration of the training will be dependent on the actual course material, however, it is expected that the contract duration not exceed a period of 45 work days at most.
Qualifications
Successful candidates should meet most or all of the following qualifications:
- Excellent command of English language both written and oral.
- Hold at least a bachelor degree in either of the following fields: Business, Marketing, finance, Accounting, Economics, Law.
- Hold advance certificates or degrees in the fields of : entrepreneurship, Innovation management, Project management, business development.
- Proven professional experience in start-up business development or a related field.
- Proven experience in training, and curriculum development. Expert Trainers who which to express their interest are invited to do the following:
-Send Curriculum Vitae > Express the field of their specialization
- Indicate the time and date of their availability to work > Express their Gross Daily Expected fee in Euros
