Establishing Mentor Teams

Al-Quds University has received a grant from the Quality Improvement

Fund – Ministry of Education and Higher Education and Funded by the World Bank, towards the cost of Establishing Mentor Teams Project. The mentorship program is aimed to help new faculty members in navigating their way around a new University environment and to enhance their teaching skills. The participants are expected to receive training and instructions to help them in their performance in doing their job at the University. At the most basic level, the ideal mentor should be able to offer an informal helping hand, and should be able and available.

The steering committee of the project announces the following vacancies to be financed as part of the above mentioned project:

I- Project Coordinator– Full time

Place of Work: Al-Quds University

Minimum Requirements

1. Has at least 3 years documented experience in coordinating projects.

2. Has at least a first university degree in management or any other relevant field. MA highly desirable.

3. Has an excellent English Language working ability

4. Has excellent computer skills.

5. Has excellent communication skills

6. Has excellent leadership skills

Responsibilities

1. Work with the project manager and steering committee in monitoring and evaluating all the training activities according to the standards developed by the project steering committee

2. Work with the project manager and steering committee in monitoring and evaluating all the project’s products (training materials) based on the standards developed by the steering committee.

3. Coordinate all the project’s activities conducted through out the project life time.

4. Report to the steering committee on all the project technical related activities.

5. Report to Project Manager all required information and details.
