Art Therapy Trainer

The Faisal Husseini Foundation through the Comprehensive School Upgrading Program funded from the ENPI (ENPI/2011/266-988) programme of the European Union announces the following procurement of services:

Program objective:
To assure that all children in East Jerusalem enjoy their right to quality education in a child friendly and motivating learning environment.

 

Purpose of Service:
To enable teachers to express themselves and empower them to better handle their challenges through the use of Art Therapy.

Qualifications and skills:
-PHD, degree in the field of Art Therapy
-Strong communication skills
-Management and planning skills
-Training Skills
-Reporting Skills and the ability to write reports in English
-Computer skills (Microsoft Office, E-Mail and internet)
-Excellent English and Arabic  Language skills

General professional experience:
-five years of experience in the field of training
-Specific professional experience:
-Extensive experience in the field of Art Therapy and how to integrate different arts such as dance, movement, drama and theatre, literature and storytelling, music and poetry and the visual arts in teaching.
-Five years of experience in training teachers.
-Extensive knowledge in child psychology (training courses or university degree)
