Terre des Hommes Italia is a non-‐profit organization dedicated to protecting children  against  all forms of violence or abuse and guaranteeing their right to health, education and life.

Terre des Hommes Italia is  looking for a qualified professional  to be hired in Jerusalem, to replace a maternity leave, for a maximum of 3 months, as  Assistant Administrator.

The working time is from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm, from Sunday to Thrusday.
   
Under  the  supervision  of the Project  Manager,  the  Assistant Administrator  will  have  direct  responsibility over   the  execution   and  oversight   of  financial   processes   and  transactions,   including   payroll preparation and bookkeeping,  as well as on the administrative  components  of the activities; s/he will support in the management of human resources and ensuring good inter-­‐team  dynamics and communication.  The Assistant Administrator  will be central to guaranteeing a rigorous and transparent application of TdH It policies and procedures, and to ensuring compliance with local laws and the full respect of donor’s requirement in the management of the project resources.
   
Candidates need to possess the following requirements
-Degree in economy or any related field;
-Qualified    finance    professional    (recognized    accounting    qualification)    or    equivalent experience   of  financial   management;   experience   with   using   financial   or  accountancy software and knowledge of double entry accounting
-At least 1 years experience in an NGO environment, preferably in the education sector
-Good  organizational  skills,  precision,  rapidity,  dependability  and  the  ability  to  manage  and
prioritize multiple tasks
-Strong  leadership  and  interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team and to
interact with diverse stakeholders
-Excellent computer skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
-Fluency in written and spoken Arabic; Excellent oral and written communication  skills in English; Ability to produce accurate and well-­‐presented written work; Hebrew is an asset
-High  level of commitment to the principles of development  and  to  the  goals of TdH It
