Assistant project coordinator/Civil Engineer

Jerusalem Water Undertaking (JWU) in cooperation with KfW Development Bank invites
applications from qualified and competent civil engineers for the following position:

Assistant project coordinator

This is a Junior level position at JWU where he/she will be assigned to all different tasks
related to the implementation of the Regional Sewerage Ramallah Project - phase 1.

Requirements:
Candidates must have B.Sc. degree in civil engineering with 3 years minimum work experience
in coordinating work between local institutions, consultants, and donor organizations
with great emphasis on wastewater treatment and reuse. M.Sc. degree in water and
environmental engineering is a plus.
All candidates are expected to be proficient in written/spoken English, well-versed in relevant
computer applications including MS office applications. Candidates should have
working experience with donors and development cooperation, knowledge in public procurement
procedures, excellent reporting and communication skills, good experience in
tender document preparation (TOR, agreement, etc.) and strong leadership abilities, desire
to excel and a positive attitude.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for written examination.
