Backend Java Developer

CCC is looking for a highly skilled Backend Java developer. He will be responsible for developing and designing APIs for web and mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and build RESTful API using Java and Spring Boot.
• Document and test APIs.
• Design and implement relational Databases.
• Backend service architecture
• Work with the front-end developers to enhance performance and scalability 
• Implement Continuous integration
• Deploy applications and do optimization and tuning  
• Ensure company mandate is effectively addressed in technical and developmental aspects.
• Troubleshoot issues and problem solving as necessary.
• Keep current with industry trends and developments that can be applied to company needs.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
• Working experience as a backend Developer for complex applications.
• Expert in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, microservices architecture.
• Expert in RESTful API design, development and testing.
• Worked with swagger, Postman and API testing frameworks
• Experience with identity management software. Ex: Keycloak, Oauth2, etc.
• Implemented backend security
• Expert in relational databases (e.g. postgresSQL, MSSQL, and others).
• Continuous integration experience, including packaging, testing and deployment.
• Experience with JHipster and Liquibase is a plus
• Hadoop and spark experience is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail and a head for problem solving.
• Worked in an agile environment and used Scrum development methodology and tools 
• An analytical mind
