The Institute for Community partnership / Bethlehem University is seeking candidates for the following position as part of the project; “Building Media Competence in Palestine – Funded by Finnish Government”.

Duration of Assignment: One Year (with potential for renewal)

Position Title: Project Coordinator

Position Description: The Project Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and implementing several tasks for the above mentioned project.

Location of Assignment: The Project Coordinator will be based in Bethlehem.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

1. Ensure the successful implementation of the project activities through preparing and organizing project implementation plan and providing adequate follow up and supervision of the work.

2. Implement project activities in coordination with other team members at ICP by planning, organizing and undertaking tasks necessary for the success of these events and activities.

3. Build professional relationships with all project stakeholders including project partners and beneficiaries.

4. Ensure proper documentation of project material with special attention to information on beneficiaries.

5. Provide assistance in financial reporting issues and preparation of supporting documents required, in compliance with donor’s regulations and Bethlehem University finance office regulations.

6. Preparation of progress reports as required by the Program Officer and the project donor.

7. Evaluation and monitoring of project progress at all stages of the project.

Minimum Requirements:

• University degree in Management, Business Administration and Media or any relevant major.

• At least 2 years of experience working in the required field.

• Excellent communication and team work skills, computer skills and ability to work under pressure.
