(Bio-Medical Engineering)

QRC has received a fund from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in Cooperation with Islamic Development Bank (IDB) for Complete Equipping the Specialized Surgery Building (SSB) at Alshifa Hospital.

Location: Gaza Strip
Duration: 18 Month
Type: Part Time- Lump Sum

MAIN PURPOSE OF Consultancy
To offer technical support to the project in all areas of bio-medical engineering including medical equipment and furniture and other support medical technologies. The assignment shall entail, but not limited to, review of BOQs, technical specifications and other bidding documents in addition to supervision and monitoring of supplied and installed devices.

Main Duties
-Review & Verification of identified requirements of medical Equipment, medical Instruments & Furniture & other medical Technologies
-Technical Support in the Tender Process of required Medical Equipment
-Technical Support in Receipt, Installation and Utilization of supplied Medical Equipment & other medical Technologies

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
-At least a Bachelor degree in Bio-Medical Engineering or a University Degree in other fields of Engineering with a postgraduate diploma in Bio-Medical engineering; or its equivalent from a recognized University / Institution
-At least Seven (7) years professional experience in preparation of medical equipment condition assessment and specifications for hospitals including installation and maintenance of biomedical equipment
-Demonstrated knowledge in preparation of tender documents of medical equipment supply is desirable
-A high level of interpersonal skills, integrity and ability to work with complex teams
-Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with minimum supervision
-Strong written and oral communication skills demonstrated in ability of making effective presentations to diverse audiences.
-Computer literacy particularly in using Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
