BLS Trainer

Médecins du Monde France (MDM-F) is an international medical organization, which has been present in the Palestinian Territories since 1995 and in the Gaza Strip since 2002.
MDM-F is currently working in Nablus district of the West Bank and in the Gaza Strip in the field of mental health and emergency preparedness, with the Ministry of Health in Gaza Strip governorates

MDM is currently looking for qualified candidates to fill the position of:


BLS Trainer, Gaza Base (4 Positions)


Starting date: May 16th, 2017
Duration: 4 Part Time Contract, 12 months with possibility of Extension

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
To provide and supervise Basic life support trainings to the community in order to contribute to the Emergency Preparedness Projects in Gaza and reduce the impact of potential emergency disasters.
Conduct Basic Life Support training at community level.
Monitor the training sessions undertaken by TOTs towards BLS volunteers
Integration and follow-up of the trainings
Reporting and follow up of training activities           

Requirments
University degree in medical sciences, Nurse.
At least 2 years of work experience as Basic life support trainer
At least 3 years of work experience with NGOs.
Capacity to organize & conduct training.
Good supervision & reporting skills.
Good communication skills.
Good command of English and Arabic languages (both written and spoken).
Computer skills (word, excel, PowerPoint, statistics software…).
