Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is a leading UK charity dedicated to improving the health and dignity of Palestinians affected by conflict, occupation, and displacement. With a focus on the occupied Palestinian territory and Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, we provide vital health and medical care to those in need, particularly in crisis zones like Gaza. As part of our commitment to meeting the growing needs of the communities we serve, we're expanding our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing budget review and management, ensuring accurate reflection of budget changes, and tracking funds. Responsibilities include converting concept notes into detailed budgets, facilitating effective communication between program and finance teams, and monitoring expenditures to align with approved budgets. The role requires risk mitigation, supporting financial reporting, and continuously improving budget management processes. Maintaining thorough documentation and organized records for transparency and audit purposes is also essential.

The ideal candidate should have bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, with extensive experience in budget management and financial analysis. The ideal candidate must have a strong grasp of budget management principles, financial systems, and accounting practices, along with proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools. The role requires excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as strong attention to detail and accuracy.
