Business Analyst – Insurance / Financial Systems

Responsibilities
FIS is looking to recruit a qualified and motivated business analyst to join our team at the company’s headquarters in Ramallah with the below main responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand and analyze their needs and workflows.
- Translate client requirements into clear technical specifications for the development team.
- Train clients on the use of insurance systems, ensuring effective adoption and understanding.
- Provide pre-sales demonstrations and detailed presentations to potential customers.
- Support system implementation, testing and troubleshooting during deployment phases.
- Stay updated on insurance industry trends and contribute to continuous product improvement.

Requirements
- Proficiency in English is mandatory, both written and spoken.
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Management Information Systems or related field with a preference for candidates with experience in insurance or financial systems.
- Prior experience in one or more insurance domains (e.g., reinsurance, claims, policy management) is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in analyzing client workflows and identifying technical needs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with insurance or financial processes and systems.
- Experience in pre-sales, client training, or business analysis roles.
- Technical understanding of software development life cycles is a plus.
