Responsibilities: 

  • Research, identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities in target markets. Build and manage a robust sales pipeline from initial contact to contract signing.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets and the company's growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders, understanding their needs and challenges.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends,  potential clients, new market segments, and untapped opportunities that align with our product offerings.
  • Work closely with leadership to develop and implement a sales strategy that aligns with company goals. Continuously optimize the sales process to increase conversions.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience, from lead generation to post-sale support.
  • Regularly review and report on business development activities from clients and the market, providing insights and recommendations to the product and marketing teams for continuous improvement.
  • Adapt to various roles as needed to contribute to the growth and culture of a fast-moving startup.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the SaaS space, ideally with experience in startups or high-growth environments.
  • Language: Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Problem-solving skills: Ability to quickly analyze challenges, adapt strategies, and provide innovative solutions.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: A self-starter who thrives in a startup environment and is comfortable working with limited resources and ambiguity.
  • Proven success: Demonstrated ability to develop and close deals with enterprise or mid-market clients and meet sales targets in a SaaS context.
  • SaaS knowledge: Solid understanding of SaaS business models, subscription-based sales, and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Networking skills: Strong networking capabilities, with an ability to build relationships and credibility with decision-makers across industries.
  • Sales tools proficiency: Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), lead generation tools, and other sales technology.
  • Excellent communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey value propositions clearly and persuasively.
  • Negotiation: Proven track record in negotiations, closing deals, and driving revenue growth.
  • Adaptability: Ability to pivot strategies quickly based on market conditions and client feedback, characteristic of a startup environment.
