Business System Analyst

Ahleia Insurance Group, a dominant Insurance company in Palestine is looking urgently for Business Systems Analyst, to work closely with the Corporate Development and Investment Manager in HQ Office - Ramallah

Position Title: Business System Analyst
(Code: Last Name / First Name – Systems Analyst)

Key Responsibilities:
-Create elicit system requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.
-Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
-Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: (Functional requirements (Business Requirements Document), iii. Use Cases, GUI, Screen and Interface designs)
-Recommending improvements on the system for purpose of internal controls, segregation of duties, operational efficiency
-Translating management requirements into highly specified project briefs;
-identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability;
-drawing up specific proposals for modified or replacement systems;
-Producing project feasibility, management and timeline reports;
-Presenting proposals
-Working closely with developers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction;
-Ensuring that budgets are adhered to and deadlines met;
-Drawing up a testing schedule for the complete system;
-Overseeing the implementation of a new system;
-Planning and working flexibly to a deadline;
-Writing user manuals;
-Providing training to users of a new system;
-Keeping up to date with technical and industry developments.

 Key Requirements :
-Most ideal candidates would have a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems and a minor in Business, Computer engineers with problem solving and business experience are also recommended to apply.
-At least 3-5 years professional experience working in a high demand, service-oriented environment.
-Ability to solve problems / high pressure issues.
-Good knowledge in “Need assessment “
-Technical experience with systems networking, databases, Web development, and user support.
-Good working knowledge skills with Microsoft Office Products, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Project.
-Provides assistance and advice to business users in the effective use of applications and information technology.
-Experience in the development and implementation of standards, procedures and guidelines to support operational processes.
-Strong project management skills with effective results focus within an information systems environment
-Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
-Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities;
-Willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours.
-Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
