CARANA/EDIP Business Development Representative

 

The Enterprise Development and Investment Promotion (EDIP) project, implemented by
CARANA Corporation, is a 3-year, USAID funded project devoted to private-sector development in the West Bank. The EDIP project is seeking individuals to fill the following
position:

The Business Development Representative will be resident in Jenin and be responsible for representing EDIP development interests in the Governorates of Jenin, Qalqilyah and Nablus. Responsibilities include building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the political and business communities. The EDIP Business Development Representative will build local relationships to implement economic development initiatives supported by EDIP. This includes identifying lead firms in the private sector, building client relationships, analyzing development potential and preparing applications for development assistance. The candidate must have good business relationships in the local political and business communities; must be a native Arabic speaker; and, must have excellent English speaking and writing ability. This is a 6 month consultancy assignment.
