The Role
Oxfam CASH Field officer will be the interface of Oxfam and its partners and suppliers and with the community in the implementation of cash assistance. He/she will manage and oversee field activities including how the people we serve access assistance in a safe, dignified, and timely manner. The FSL/Cash field officer is expected to coordinate with partner teams, suppliers, and cash actors in the field as needed. Ensuring that projects follow its specific plans, he/she is expected to provide timely reporting when issues in the field arise, and bring to attention risks and new needs as they arise.

What we are looking for
We are looking for someone who has:
- Bachelor or Diploma degree in social science, or any other relevant studies.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Cash Assistance in emergencies and in humanitarian programming, preferably in an international or local NGO, in similar role/with similar responsibilities.
- Demonstrated experience in applying feedback mechanisms.
- Demonstrated experience in managing multiple needs of affected population.
- Experience with cash actors – including using different mechanisms of cash.
- Working with local communities, local groups, women groups, and community leaders
- Experience in field reporting.
- Experiencing in managing conflict in community and managing tension between people we serve and partners/suppliers/vendors.
- Strong communication skills,
- Problem solving skills.
- Ability to act in emergency and be proactive.
- Sensitive to culture, and context
What we offer
The employee will be contracted by Oxfam with a competitive, fair and comprehensive pay and benefits package that is justifiable to our donors. Salary range starts at 66,239 ILS gross per annum, for a 40-hour contract. Salary offered will be subject to funding available and competences.
