CHF International is seeking individuals to serve as part-time Bank Trainers for its Mortgage Market Development Program (MMDP). The Bank Trainers will work with the Program Manager to design, plan and conduct Mortgage Underwriting trainings for bank staff across the West Bank from October-July 2010, as well as manage and monitor on the job support to loan officers on information gained during the off-site trainings
The Bank Trainers will assist in the design and preparation of the sessions and will conduct the trainings which will consist of 12, 3 day sessions with bank staff from the West Bank. The majority of trainings will be conducted during evening and/or weekend hours, outside of normal business hours. It is required that the qualified candidate has similar experience in conducting bank trainings. It is preferable that the candidate also have experience working on mortgage lending. Bank trainers will also be responsible for monitoring and evaluating outcomes of trainings and respond to training needs in a flexible and timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
-University degree in finance,accounting,business administration,orother related field;
-Minimum 5 years experience in lending or credit management in the field of banking, microfinance or other financial institution, preference given to those with mortgage underwriting experience;
-Good knowledge of project analysis, credit and risk management, credit policy, and credit administration procedures;
-Experience facilitating dynamics of diverse groups of people;
-English fluency desired; Arabic skills required.
