Chief Accountant

 A leading company  is seeking a qualified candidate to fulfill the following vacancy, in its offices in Bethlehem – Bait Fajjar

Position: Chief Accountant
Location: Bethlehem – Bait Fajjar
Type of Contract: Full Time

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
-Maintaining accurate and up to date records of all financial transactions.
-Recording, classifying, and summarizing financial transactions and events in accordance with accepted local accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
-Using various software applications, such as spreadsheets, relational databases, and statistical packages.
-Computation and payment of staff salaries on a monthly basis.
-Advising and assisting the Management in the compilation and control of Company budget.
-Reconciliation of bank statements.
-Bringing to the attention of the management any abnormality in the disbursement of the Company’s funds.
-Cooperation with external auditors to carry out annual external auditing.
-Supervision the day-to-day operation of the accounting.
-Other financial management duties assigned by the Director of Finance.


Successful candidate must have:

Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, such as accounting, finance, administration, or other related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work with all levels and functions within the company.
Requires an ability to work independently and as part of a team, accept responsibility, and be extremely discrete with sensitive information.
