Job Description:

EKA Trading, a leading company in the food and beverage distribution industry and the exclusive distributor for Bavaria, is currently in search of a highly skilled Chief Accountant to enhance our financial team. Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee the entire accounting team.
2. Oversee all company’s accounting practices, including preparing financial statements, budget, forecast, and audit functions.
3. Develop and monitor a credit control system in collaboration with sales, marketing, finance, and executive team members.
4. Establish policies that follow customer service’s best practices while ensuring customers to submit payments on time.
5. Direct financial strategy, planning, and forecasts.
6. Supervise investment and cash management.
7. Monitoring cash flow to ensure that bills are paid on time and that there is enough money available to cover upcoming expenses.
8. Study, analyse and report on trends, opportunities for expansion and projection of future company growth.
9. Ensure compliance with local legal requirements.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting. CMA is highly desirable.

Minimum 7 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position.

Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.

Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.

Working knowledge of short and long-term budgeting and forecasting.
