Chief Executive Officer

Palestine Trade Center – PALTRADE is the National Trade Promotion Organization
of Palestine. Its mission is to lead the development of Palestinian trade through advocating a business enabling environment, improving trade competitiveness, promoting international standards and providing trade-enabling knowledge among the local business community.

PALTRADE is currently seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on a full time basis. Directly reporting to PALTRADE’s Board of Directors, the CEO will be responsible for planning, managing and implementing PALTRADE’s overall functions and activities. He/she will be in charge of ensuring the effectiveness of PALTRADE’s programs, in addition to maintaining strong liaisons with PALTRADE’s partners.

Required qualifications:
-Higher degree in Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or related discipline.
-Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in multi-sector business and trade in an international context.
-Direct experience in a management position, preferably in complex programs and/or organization systems.
-Good knowledge of and experience in local and international trade markets.
-Prior experience in dealing with the public and private sectors.
-Exceptional strategic planning and analytical skills.
-Fluent in Arabic and English, with strong communication and presentation skills.
