Chief of Party

International organization seeks an experienced Chief of Party to manage the USAID-funded Palestinian Health Capacity Project. The project will strengthen the health sector capacity and governance to respond to the specific needs of the Palestinian Territories.

Responsibilities include:
-Provide overall leadership in technical excellence , program and financial management, and ensure timely implementation and reporting
-Support overall program planning and budgeting processes
-Serve as the project's primary liaison with USAID, interact with Ministries of Health,  international and regional partners, and host-country government officials
-Provide technical expertise in HR management, human capacity development, and health systems strengthening
-Manage core project staff and ensure the technical assistance team achieves results in a timely fashion
-Ensure compliance with goals set in the contract, USAID regulations and IntraHealth policies and systems
-Contribute to the design of project monitoring and evaluation systems and regular project evaluations to assess progress and recommend solutions.


Qualifications:
-Advanced degree in Public Health, International Development or related discipline
-Minimum 10 years of experience managing complex donor-funded development programs
-Minimum five years of experience as a chief of party on a USAID-funded project required
-Technical expertise in one or more of the areas listed above a plus
-Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and supervise a large staff
