Chief of Party
FHI 360 seeks candidates for the following role in anticipation of a five-year, USAID-funded West Bank/Gaza Civil Society Support project. The project may focus on: civil society capacity strengthening; increasing civic engagement in public sector decision-making; developing tools for measuring government accountability and transparency; and collaboration among civil society, government, and media actors. It is expected that all roles will be located in Ramallah, West Bank, with anticipated project-funded travel throughout the country.
Chief of Party- The Chief of Party (COP) will be responsible for providing overall vision, leadership and guidance of the project. S/he will be the project’s main point of contact for USAID and all other stakeholders, including youth, civil society actors, and local Palestinian Authority counterparts. The COP will also be responsible for overall project management and technical operations to ensure that the project tasks are completed and that the objectives of the project are successfully met.

A master’s degree in a relevant field with at least 10 years of relevant experience with increasing responsibility working on and leading civil society programs in the West Bank and/or Gaza is required. The candidate must demonstrate strong management skills in a similar role and USAID experience is highly sought. A Master’s degree is required. Fluent spoken and written English is required and Arabic is preferred. Local candidates are strongly urged to apply.
