Child rights and adolescences needs Consultant

The Faisal Husseini Foundation through the Comprehensive School Upgrading Program funded from the ENPI (ENPI/2011/266-988) programme of the European Union announces the following procurement of services:

Program objective:
To assure that all children in East Jerusalem enjoy their right to quality education in a child friendly and motivating learning environment.

 

Purpose of service:
To carry out sessions with teachers, students and their parents/guardians on child rights and adolescence needs in a number of schools in Jerusalem.

Qualifications and skills:

-PHD, degree in the field of Social Science or psychology.
-Strong communication skills
-Training Skills, preferable a degree in teachers training
-Reporting Skills and the ability to write reports in English
-Computer skills (Microsoft Office, E-Mail and internet)
-Extensive knowledge in child psychology and child rights

Experience:

-Five  years of experience in the field of teachers, students and guardians training
-Experience in creating dialogs between teachers and students
-Experience in managing debates with students
