Circuit switch Engineer (NSS O&M engineer)

Responsibilities:
1-Perform the core network operation and maintenance activities (CS, OSS).
2-Perform the routine backups (CP, AP, ALOG, and CLOG, OSS).
3-Perform all planned and unplanned activities.
4-Maintain the KPI’s as agreed with the vendors.
5-Perform all the required acceptance tests.
6-Perform implementation of signaling network according to the design.
7-Perform Implementation of proper routing according to the plans.
8-Being 24/7/365 on call.
9-Perform proper implementation of numbering plan.
10-Implementation of global title translation.
11-Integrations of new network elements for all core nodes.
12-Integration of Core with VAS and billing.
13-Activation and deactivation of core software features.
14-Implementing interconnections towards mobile operators, PSTN, international gateways, and internal nodes.
15-Coordinating with the FO for all O&M activities.
16-Reporting all O&M activities to the Team leader.
17-Implementation of any modifications on the plan as a required from planning.
18-Perform maintenance and preventive maintenance activities.
19-Perform the daily, weekly, and monthly routine health check.
20-Do the required actions according to the performance report.
21-Provide support for billing and customer care departments.
22-Insure the quality of work delivered.
23-Coordination with other departments.
24-Good knowledge of using OSS.

Requirements:
1-Bachelor’s degree in Telecom engineering or equivalent.
2-Fluent English written and spoken.
3-Team work and cooperation.
4-Communication skills.
5-Organization commitment.
6-Motivation.
7-Flexibility.
8-Ability to work under pressure.
