ARD, Inc. is the implementing partner for the USAID funded Civic Engagement Program II. ARD, Inc. is looking for experienced professionals to be based in our Jerusalem Office for the following positions:
1- Capacity Development and Reporting Program Specialist (CDRPS)
Duration: 32 Months
Location: Jerusalem with travel to the West Bank
This position requires at least seven years of professional experience in capacity development and monitoring and evaluation, preferably with USAID programs. The CDRPS will be responsible for specific capacity-building tasks, as well as for supporting the capacity development and integration of CSO aspects of the grants programs into the field teams’ project development processes. Reporting
of CEP II program achievements and other quarterly, monthly and public relations tasking will be an important focus of this position. Additionally, the CDRPS will be responsible for CEP’s monitoring, evaluation and reporting of its time sensitive projects which respond to evolving political realities on the ground and build CSO capacity at the community and national levels. This position will require
extensive travel.
Other requirements include:
- BA in the field of social science, development studies or other related field
- Strong analytical and writing skills
- Excellent communication skills in English (written, aural and verbal)
- Proficiency in computer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work within a team, at a fast pace and under pressure
- Ability and willingness to travel
2- Grants Management Specialist (GMS)
Duration: 32 Months
Location: Jerusalem and West Bank
This position requires at least five years of professional experience in grants management, preferably with USAID programs. The individual must have strong problem solving and negotiation skills to support and ensure rapid implementation of time sensitive projects which respond to evolving political realities on the ground and build CSO capacity at the community and national levels. This position will require extensive travel.
Other requirements include:
- BA in the field of social science, development studies or other related field
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English (written, aural and verbal)
- Proficiency in computer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work within a team, at a fast pace and under pressure
- Ability and willingness to travel
