Employment Opportunity for a Civil Engineer

Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with Major in Building and Construction Engineering.
2 – 3 years of work experience related to field of study.
-Good command of English and Arabic (written/oral).
-Experience in residential building construction is a plus.
-Ability to effectively respond to sensitive issues, complex inquiries or comments from clients, coworkers, supervisor and/or management.
-Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of options in varying situations.
-Excellent communication, time management, analytical and quantitative skills.
-High work ethics and professionalism.
-Valid driver’s license.

Duties and Responsibilities:
-Supervise the implementation of projects and make sure that results comply with specifications.
-Cooperate with architects and other engineers specialized in construction.
-Prepare lists of materials and laborers.
-Assist in preparing elementary as well as final project calculations.
-Assist in preparing quantitative calculations for any project to determine budget estimate.
-Participate in supervising bid tenders and bids’ decision making sessions.
-Help with preparing journal vouchers for projects being implemented by the company.
-Prepare and distribute price request forms and summaries prices tables.
-Follow up with supplier.
-Edit and draft memos relating to the internal and external departmental affairs and present them to the manager to sign and circulate to those concerned.
-Arrange for meetings, sessions, and draft all information necessary and pertaining to so.
-Perform any other related-to-work task as assigned by the Engineering Department Manager or General Manager.
