OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION:

The CCTV Technician is responsible for performing support activities involving the installation, test, training and maintenance of physical security, electronic, mechanical and Closed Circuit Televisions CCTV equipment.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS:

Purpose and Scope of Assignment:

-To install, configure, test and provide training and maintenance on project components;
-Install components and wirings on Closed Circuit Televisions (CCTV);
-Configure security systems and related equipment.
-Ensure work is in accordance with applicable codes and standard practices.
-Provide system turnover to customers including training.
-Test, troubleshoot, diagnose and recommend potential solutions for system errors and failures.
-Perform any other tasks and duties as directed by the supervisor.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

Education:

-Technical Diploma in IT;

Work Experience:

-Minimum 4 years of experience in installation of security, video surveillance and alarm systems of similar scope, type and complexity.
-Must have the ability to install, terminate & test low voltage cables & fiber optical cables.
-Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate industry safety certifications.

Languages:

-Fluency in written and spoken Arabic is essential. Intermediate language skills in English.
