Communication and Field Officer

Sabeel is excited to announce a position for a Communication and Field Officer. We are looking for a
dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team in Jerusalem. This position is a 100 % full time
role with a diverse range of responsibilities that include fieldwork, communication, and research.

Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute to and execute communication strategies to enhance Sabeel's outreach.
• Manage social media platforms and contribute to website content.
• Conduct research to support ongoing projects.
• Coordinate and oversee field activities, including overnight stays when necessary.
• Engage with various stakeholders and maintain strong relationships within the community.

Qualifications:
• A relevant degree in Communication, or a related field.
• A Jerusalem ID is a MUST.
• Excellent command of English and Arabic; Hebrew is a plus.
• In-depth understanding of Jerusalem’s social, cultural, and political landscape.
• Proven experience in working in similar projects.
• Proficient in using social media and basic website management tools.
• Strong research skills.
• A valid driving license is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• A personable and approachable character, with strong interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to stay overnight in the field when required.
• Understanding of Theology is a Plus
• A Guide licence is a Plus
