Communications Intern / Social Media Focus

Duration of Internship:Three months
Starting date: As soon as possible
Working Hours: Sunday - Thursday; 8:30AM - 5:00PM

-Support in building and implementing new social media strategy to promote the ta3mal employability portal through training and support from IYF, Microsoft and Silatech
-Administrate accounts on social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Youtube
-Sort and organize information to be presented on social media channels
-Post approved posts on social media channels
-Respond to questions and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
-Write professional Arabic and/or English language content and post on social media
-Provide statistical reports of social media usage and interactions on weekly basis
-Provide support to the roll-out of Ta3mal Employability Portal, including data collection, data entry and any other related task as assigned.

Skills:

-Motivated; creative and innovative thinking
-Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
-Basic experience in using social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube
-Excellent written and oral communication skills
-Fluent in English and Arabic
-Proven accuracy, consistency and attention to detail
-Resourceful and proactive
-Proven organizational skills
-Multimedia, Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator skills are highly desirable
