Oxfam GB is looking for Community Mobilizers to contribute to its Public Health Programme in Al Moghraga, south of Gaza city, and Al Sabra area in the middle of Gaza city.
 
The mobilizers will be contracted as consultants to work 150 days over a period of 8 months. Aiming at an early start date on June 1st, 2011.
 
We are looking for someone who has the following skills:
 
-Background in Health/ Environmental or psychosocial science.
-Experience in community mobilization and public awareness campaigns.
-Experience in home-to-home visits and women sessions.
-Familiarity in hygiene promotion issues like personal, domestic and environmental hygiene, and rationale use of water. Etc.
-High communication skills.
-Cultural sensitivity.
-Spirit of voluntarism Approach
-Team work Spirit
-Good reporting and managerial skills
-Fluency in Arabic, English writing is desirable
