Location: Bank of Palestine – West Bank - Ramallah.
Type of Appointment: fixed term.
Deadline for Application: 20/03/2012.
Division: Information Technology.
 
Main Responsibilities:
 
-Write, update and maintain computer programs or software packages to handle specific jobs, such as storing or retrieving data, or controlling other equipment.
-Perform or direct the revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
-Perform systems analysis and programming tasks to maintain and control the use of computer systems software as a systems programmer.
-Working in assigned projects.
 
Qualifications & Personal Competences:
 
-Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information technology, or any related field.
-A minimum of one year experience preferably in Oracle (SQL, PLSQL, Forms and reports).
-Working knowledge of DBMS (Oracle, SQL server, My SQL).
-Experience in Linux operating systems environment e.g.: kernel commands and programming.
-Web design experience preferably PHP, ASP.net.
-OCP (Oracle Certified Professional) is an advantage.
-High communication skills with the ability to work within teams in multitasking work circumstances, where brainstorming and troubleshooting capabilities are essential.
-MS project is a plus
 
Assessment Method:
 
Qualified candidates will be required to perform a technical tests related to scope of work mentioned, a short list will be chosen according to test result.
