Consultant:deliver on some communication outputs within Pale

Oxfam is looking for a consultant to deliver on some communication outputs within Palestinian Green Gold from producers to consumers The consultant is expected to work in the West Bank and travel to several locations for story gathering. Main objective of the consultancy is to:-
-Deliver on communications and visibility requirements for across programmes in the West Bank with a focus on livelihoods

-Documentation of the case studies and success stories in the project
-Multimedia documentation of evidence base information related to Oxfam’s programme work. This will include case studies, programme progress, situation reports, blogs and updates and will be through written narrative, still photograph, audio, video

We are expecting that the consultant will need to work 8 days within June 2015.

The following qualifications are sought:
-At least two years experience of working in communications within the NGO sector
-Education to degree level in job related sector (essential)
-Professional communications skills, gained within a journalism/PR or NGO environment, to communicate and adapt complex policy and development issues to different levels of target audience (essential)
-Competent in different communication skills such as written, spoken, photography, audio, video (essential)
-Excellent networking and negotiation skills to develop good working relationships within Oxfam and external actors (essential)
-Ability to think and operate strategically and creatively (essential)
-Excellent organizational skills and an ability to work both independently and as part of a team (essential)
-Understanding of gender issues and commitment to promoting gender equity (essential)
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (essential) Arabic is desirable.
-Proven experience of using MS Office applications (Word, Excel and Power Point) (essential)
