The Faisal Husseini Foundation through the Comprehensive School Upgrading Program funded from the ENPI (ENPI/2011/266-988) programme of the European Union announces the following procurement of services:

Program objective:
To assure that all children in East Jerusalem enjoy their right to quality education in a child friendly and motivating learning environment.
 

Purpose of service:
1-To diagnose students with learning disabilities from grades (2-5) in a number of schools in Jerusalem.
2-To provide teachers of special education in the targeted schools with the needed training on diagnosis and treatment of students with learning disabilities. And to provide teachers with the needed follow up at class.
3-To carry out awareness sessions with parents of students with learning disabilities on how to support their children.

Qualifications and skills:
-PHD or MA degree in the field of Learning disabilities
-Training skills, preferable a degree in teaching or training of teachers
-Strong communication skills
-Reporting Skills and the ability to write reports in English.
-Computer skills (Microsoft Office, E-Mail and internet)

Experience:
-Five years of experience in the field of diagnosing and treating children with learning disabilities
-Five years of experience in the field of managing educational programs
