REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST - RFEOI Individual Consultants SSA-LGI-WB-13-009

Design and Delivery of Training Courses to Partner Local Government Units' (LGUs) Staff
CHF International is a non-profit international development organization acting as a catalyst for long-lasting positive change in low and moderate income communities, helping them improve their social, economic, and environmental conditions. With funding provided by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), CHF International-West Bank/Gaza (WBG) is implementing a program entitled "Local Government and Infrastructure - LGI". The program aims to promote an enabling environment for good local governance and provide the basic infrastructure necessary for sustainable improvements in the quality of life for Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza. A key intervention of the program is to strengthen local government capacity to respond effectively and efficiently to community needs by promoting and institutionalizing good democratic governance practices. LGI is continuing its efforts to support partner LGUs in the West Bank with a number of capacity building initiatives is to provide required skills enhancement trainings to a number of staff members in LGI's partner LGUs in the WB.

Currently, LGI is seeking qualified trainers for the immediate design and delivery of two centralized trainings on the following topics:

-Advanced Excel for Accountants
-Accounting for non-accountants

The trainers are requested to develop training modules and deliver customized training in Arabic for a total of 30 individual staff members as following:

-Advanced Excel for Accountants (30 hours) for a total 25 participants.
-Accounting for non-accountants (20 hours) for a total of 25 participants.

Required Experience
-At least master degree in accounting, financial management,
-Other certificates such as CPA, CIA are an advantage.
-Minimum 10 years of related experience in the requested field.
-Previous experience with USAID funded programs

Eligible and interested Individual Consultants must provide information justifying their capacity to implement the services (reference concerning the execution of similar assignments, methodologies, updated CV, availability, etc.)
