PU-AMI is a French non-governmental, not-for-profit organization working in the field of international solidarity. Since 2002, PU-AMI has implemented humanitarian projects in the occupied Palestinian territory mainly focusing on 3 sectors of intervention: Cash Fork Work, Agriculture recovery and WASH (Water Sanitation and Hygiene). From 2012, PU-AMI has oriented the goal of its humanitarian program on protecting livelihoods and securing economic access to food when and where populations are directly exposed to violations of the Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law. Starting from 2013, PU-AMI is implementing one long term project, “Women Economic Empowerment” (WEE) project, funded by the European Union (EuropeAid). In this framework project, PU-AMI is partnering with a local organization, Women for Life (WFL) for the purpose of creating and considering the needs to promote and support the empowerment of women in 10 Community Based Organizations (CBOs) of the Northern of West Bank (Salfit and Qalqilya) through raising knowledge, improving awareness and strengthening the employability and the entrepreneurship among women in 10 isolated villages.
As part of this WEE project activities, PU-AMI wishes to recruit a national consultant, team of consultants, or legally constituted institutions consultant to conduct a training that aims to improve employability of women. The trainer should be able to develop and train women, with a focus on younger population and women with disabilities, towards employment. The training (for around 30 women) will include job search skills such as CV writing, interview techniques, communication skills, IT skills and so on. Another component will be to train these women to develop knowledge and abilities to deliver career guidance such as access to services, vocational and educational opportunities and so on. This activity will be supported by the development of a guidebook.
