COOPERATION FIELD OFFICER / Part-time contract

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is an independent, neutral organization ensuring humanitarian protection and assistance for victims of war and armed violence. It takes action in response to emergencies and at the same time promotes respect for international humanitarian law and its implementation in national law.

Your Job (main tasks)
-Assists and supports the implementation of cooperation projects
-Support the current Coop FO in the organization of the day-to-day work of the Cooperation Department
-Receives clearing and internal follow up of coordination requests for PRCS staff and volunteers through  Erez via ICRC JER and PRCS Gaza
-Work with PRCS department regarding the implementation of objects supported by ICRC.
-Ensures economical and sustainable approach to cooperation activities and proper use of funds
-Draft Minutes of meetings of workshops and meetings.
-Responsible for Cooperation filing
-Facilitates the organisation of external visits to the ICRC with close cooperation with other departments
-Close cooperation with all ICRC departments.
-Interprets accurately from English to National language and vice versa during field visits and otherwise, as required.

Your Profile (skills & experience required)
-High school or professional diploma
-2 - 3 years work experience in similar function
-Good knowledge of spoken English
-Previous experience with PRCS and/or ICRC is an asset
-Good computer skills
