Coordinator

The Agricultural Development Association (PARC) is a Palestinian non-profit and non-governmental organization.

PARC is looking to recruit a Coordinator for Demonstration Farm to work in its office in Gaza.

Position Tittle: Coordinator for Demonstration Farm in Al Nakheel Garden
Duration: 11 months
Starting date: As soon as possible

Minimum Requirements
Candidates should meet the following:
-University degree in Plant production and protection
-Two - Three years of relevant experience and technical work in the sectors of agricultural at field level.
-Working knowledge of English language.

Selection Criteria
Candidates will be assessed against the following:
-Extent of experience in vegetable and tree cultivation;
-Demonstrated ability to conduct cultivation experiment;
-Extent of familiarity with the participatory agricultural extension method;
-Demonstrated ability to analyze a result of evaluation study and survey;
-Demonstrated communication skills in English, both orally and in writing.
-Demonstrated ability to work in a team, and interpersonal skills;
-Capability of working with people of different national and cultural backgrounds.
-Good skills in computer/word processing.
