Coordinator/Clinical Field Primary Health Care

Chemonics International Inc under the USAID Palestinian Health Sector Reform and Development project is seeking qualified candidates for the position(s) listed below.


Position Title: Coordinator/Clinical Field Primary Health Care (3 openings)
Job Classification: Long term professional
Reporting To: Manager/ Primary Health Care

The Primary HealthCare (PHC) Clinical Field Coordinator will work closely with PHC clinical supervisors on improving their management of primary health care interventions at the directorate and clinical level, covering various directorates in the West Bank.  This includes, but is not limited to training and coaching PHC workers on the implementation of Essential Package of Services, Standards of Care such as DM, IMCI and, Infection Prevention & Control protocols (IPC) at PHC clinics. The PHC Clinical Field Coordinator will also support the clinical and community health teams on Behavior Change Communication (BCC) through coaching and training on the effective utilization of BCC health educational materials at clinical level which will eventually impact the life style and enhance adopting healthier behaviors at a community level.
                                                                                                                                                                   
A qualified candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience working with complex development programs with health or development and have a bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health, or Social Sciences .A qualified candidate should be familiar with health issues in the West Bank and Gaza and have the ability to make independent decisions and work as a team player.

These positions are based outside of Ramallah.
