Coordinator/Monitoring and Evaluation

Chemonics International Inc under the USAID Palestinian Health Sector Reform and Development project is seeking qualified candidates for the position(s) listed below.


Position Title: Coordinator/Monitoring and Evaluation
Job Classification: Long term professional
Reporting To: Manager/ Monitoring and Evaluation

The M&E Coordinator closely cooperates with Project technical staff and partners to collect data, and ensures that the necessary data collection tools are developed and available. He/she inputs, updates and assists in analyzing the data to monitor the performance of the Project according to the results and targets. The Coordinator is expected to identify M&E challenges and participate with the M&E unit in addressing these challenges with appropriate measures.  The M&E Coordinator is also expected to conduct data quality reviews on the Geo-MIS system and ensure that all Project data inputted into the system are up-to-date, accurate and consistent with other Project quarterly and annual M&E reports.

A qualified candidate should have at least 2 years working experience with a bachelor’s degree in business management, health, social sciences, or related fields.  A qualified candidate will also have the ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in written form in English and Arabic, while being able to prioritize work assignments and meet deadlines The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Coordinator is expected to be highly familiar with the USAID Geo-MIS system and basic M&E functions to follow-up on Project activities and beneficiaries. A qualified candidate should be highly organized, great interpersonal communications skills and have the ability to multi-task without direct supervision.
