Action Against Hunger (ACF) is a global humanitarian organization, established in 1979 in France, with a mission to eradicate hunger and malnutrition worldwide. Operating in over 45 countries, ACF provides lifesaving emergency support and long-term solutions. ACF is working in Gaza since 20 years.

The primary role of the IYCF Assistant is to support IYCF activities, implementing in integration with other nutrition activities and at mother and baby friendly spaces. Specific tasks include the provision of key IYCF messages to mothers, caregivers and pregnant and breastfeeding women, conducting group sessions, support distributions of nutritional supplements and participate in data collection. Other tasks and responsibilities may be added upon need. This position will be supported by the IYCF Counsellor, the Nutrition head of Project and the Nutrition Program Manager.
