Data Analyst

Innotech - A growing company located in Ramallah is looking for qualified Data Analyst. We are looking for candidates with experience in financial and mathematical calculation based on big data inputs. You would support our project and development teams in the preparation of quantitative models for financial market calculations (Performance/Risk). The tasks include financial analysis verification, preparing new calculations and compiling data.

Responsibilities:

-    Result verification of exiting calculations and risk / performance measures
-    Building up VBA/Excel tools and testing suits to verify existing calculations of the systems (result verification of the system based on raw Cash Flow inputs)
-    Preparing financial/mathematical calculations and documentations for new financial model features based on business inputs
-    Creating technical specifications and requirements for development team
-    Working closely with our development and QA team during the implementation and testing period.

Requirements:

-    Bachelors/Master’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Physics
-    First practical experience in the areas of financial analysis, financial modelling, big data analytics
-    Experience in handling the MS Office apps especially in MS Excel. Experience in Matlab and Python is a strong plus
-    Strong understanding of financial market measures calculations
-    Strong analytical skills and fluency in the English
-    Team spirit, motivation, reliability and organizational skills
-    Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
