Data Entry
Contract Duration: 6 months, renewable
Reports to: Regional Humanitarian Program & Emergency Manager
Main Purpose
- Carry out all activities related to the entry of medical and social data into the PCRF database, according to PCRF protocols and maintain confidentiality, to have reliable and up-to-date information. Supervise, organize, and plan the activity of Data Entry officers to have a reliable record of medical activity performed, as well as identify their training/technical support needs to provide good service support and reliability of the data collected.
Accountabilities
• Enter medical and social data in the PCRF database regularly and according to PCRF protocols.
• Participate in the search for missing data. from the field team
• Update files of existing beneficiaries and make any corrections needed.
• Make regular back-ups of all data processed.
• Look after all equipment provided and keep the recording area clean and tidy, giving special importance to all patient files.
• Report any issue concerning data management to the manager
• Elaborate statistical reports when required by the management team.
• Ensure, promote, and maintain confidentiality regarding all information registered.
Context-Specific Accountabilities
Data Entry:
- Accurately enter beneficiaries' information into the registration system following established protocols.
- Ensure timely and error-free data entry for all beneficiaries referred to different stakeholders
Registration Sheet Management:
- Maintain an organized and updated registration sheet for all beneficiaries.
- Verify and update beneficiaries' details as required, ensuring the information is correct and complete.
Data Security and Confidentiality:
- Implement strict measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of beneficiaries' data.
- Adhere to data protection policies and guidelines to prevent unauthorized access.
Reporting:
- Compile and organize all collected data at the end of each day.
- Prepare a summary report to be shared with the line manager, highlighting key metrics and any notable incidents.
- Provide regular statistical reports for the medical team as well as inform the superior of any missing information, major changes or big differences in data
Collaboration with the Field Team:
- Coordinate with the field team to gather additional information when needed.
- Communicate effectively with the team to ensure a seamless beneficiary registration process.
- Provide technical support to data entry officers/operators in project sites and respond to their training needs.
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct regular checks to ensure the accuracy of data entered.
- Identify and rectify any discrepancies in patient information.

Education
A degree in Information and Technology (IT) is desirable.
Essential proven qualifications either in data entry administration or statistics.
Experience
Essential working experience of at least 5 years in data processing and entry.
Languages
Proficiency in English and Arabic languages (Speaking- Listening- reading-writing )
Knowledge
Essential knowledge of the use of computers including the processing of documents (Word, Excel).
Desirable knowledge of medical statistics databases.
