Data Scientist

Imagry is seeking an experienced Data Scientist with research capabilities to take part in the development of algorithms and software in the domain of machine learning and to help build, improve and monitor our state-of-the-art models to optimize our capabilities of predicting and expanding our database.

Responsibilities

-Apply your machine learning and software expertise to research and develop state-of-the-art data mining.
-Pick up new technologies and algorithms, be able to fit the ideas into the existing infrastructure
-Research, design, implement and evaluate advanced statistical approaches and models for our most complex business issues
-Code the solution and perform accuracy test.
-Define metrics and key data sets to support the evaluation and improvement our products
-Build quantitative models that will turn data into operational insights
-Develop processes to support the team capabilities of on going analysis of the models

Qualifications

-Experience with at least one of the domains: machine learning, Neural Networks and statistical predictive modeling.
-M.A./Ph.D. in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Statistics or other technical field.
-Ability to clearly communicate analysis outputs.
-Experience with large data sets.
-1-3 years coding experience in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PHP)
-Passion for writing code to solve multiple problems through automation and tools.
-Experience with Cloud based infrastructure. Amazon Web Services is a strong plus.
-Experience with deployment and configuration systems.
-Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and sysadmin experience.
-Some relational database knowledge;Mysql,MSsql Postgres.
-Highly developed, process-oriented skills for troubleshooting and problem solving
-Team player, communicative, highly motivated, innovation-oriented, can-do attitud
-Experience working with one or more deep learning frameworks such as Caffe, Theano, Torch, TensorFlow- advatage
-Very strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
-Experience in distributed computing and using Hadoop – advantage
