Data Scientist

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Data Scientist or strongly related field graduate to fast-track their career development in Data Science with emphasis on Machine Learning and Machine Vision (image and video processing/ analysis). 

The successful candidate will receive extensive practical and formal training, gain marketable skills, broaden knowledge and expertise within an industrially relevant projects, and gain valuable experience from industrial and academic mentors.  He or she will also have the opportunity to enrol in an exchange programme in the UK with the opportunity to work with senior data scientists and PhD students on some cutting edge technologies in the area of Deep Learning and Machine Learning.

Candidates must possess a Bachelor degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computing, engineering, math or a strongly related discipline. The candidate should be self-motivated with an ability to work independently and to tight deadlines within a dynamic and small team environment. In addition, she/he must have strong programming skills as well as a genuine enthusiasm for applying advanced methods to a real-world problems.  Strong knowledge and understanding of programming languages such as R, Python, or similar langue is highly desirable. Experience in handling unstructured data is highly desirable. Team working and flexibility will be a key requirement.

Salary Range:  Starting from $800 with a review after one year and a possible completion bonus upon successful completion of the project.

Position Type: Full Time, Fixed Term 2 years, with potential for further permanent employment within Atlas Knowledge upon contract completion.
