Database Administrator Position - Palestinian ICT Graduates (Gaza, West Bank and Jerusalem)

GGateway is an ICT Outsourcing Social Enterprise in the Gaza Strip with a hybrid innovative business model that has a well-integrated Impact (Social) and Business arms that work as the first end-to-end solution from education to employment. GGateway, with Support from the IPSD, a Ministry of National Economy project, funded by the World Bank, works to contribute to the Gaza Strip’s economic growth by expanding business opportunities and professional capacity for youth and women, while its business and social impact objectives are two halves of a single solution.

GGateway is looking for talented and skilled applicants located in Palestine to work remotely in Database Administrator Position. We are looking for motivated and experienced Mid and Mid+ candidates who match the required qualifications and skills mentioned in the following job description:

Requirements:

Responsible for providing support of Oracle Infrastructure, Oracle SPARC, Oracle, Postgress & MySQL, SQL and Mongo Infrastructure.
Primarily role is supporting the production and development SQL 2008/2012 & Mongo databases
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Oracle 10g/11g/12c on UNIX Servers
Good experience in Replication, Log shipping, Clustering & RAC
Execution of backup/recovery procedures & RMAN
Creation and Maintenance of Database Instances & Performance fine tuning
Ensure 100% SLA compliance
Driving initiatives to improve SLAs by analysis and Responses
Responsible for driving all P1, P2, incidents, change requests and OEM/ vendor management for the tower
Ensure 100% SLA compliance
Execution of backup/recovery procedures
Owner for Daily/Weekly/Monthly reviews for the tower
Responsible for Technology refresh in respective domain
Responsible for driving all P1, P2, incidents, change requests and OEM/ vendor management for the tower
Maintain up to date Asset inventory/information
Ensure monitoring of all assets in respective domain
ITIL V3 Foundation Certified (Preferred)
