Decentralized PFI Officer (DPO)

He/she will report to the Palestinian Co-Director (PCD) through the Italian Co-Director (ICD). Main function is to provide information services and to support SME’s in the identification and preliminary evaluation of projects at the Antennas in Nablus and Hebron.

Qualifications:
- University degree preferably in Economy or Industrial Engineering;
-Minimum 3 years experience;
-capacity of dialogue with micro, small and medium enterprises in their region;
-knowledge of the Regional private sector and particularly of SMEs;
-computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Data Bank Management);
-languages: Professional English and Arabic;
-preferential selection criteria will be:
(i) familiarity with institutions, organization and facilitators of Palestinian SMEs,
(ii) knowledge of Palestinian laws and regulation applicable to SMEs development
(iii) knowledge of investment evaluation and business planning.

Duties include:
- to participate in training sessions on the project, the credit facility, the preliminary evaluation of the companies and of the projects;
-to promote the project and the Credit Facility in their region;
-to liaise with entrepreneurs, local authorities and intermediary organisations;
-to assist SMEs in formulating investment proposals with the support of FMU senior officers;
-to organize and participate in meetings and visits to project sites and factories in their region;
-to provide the potential beneficiaries with all necessary information
about the Project;
-to organise workshops in their region.
