Deputy Project Medical Referent (PMR)
MSF Spain is looking for a Deputy Project Medical Referrent (PMR) in Gaza to support the Project Medical Referent through delegated tasks and responsibilities including defining, planning, and monitoring of medical activities and in the coordination of resources required to en-sure quality of care provided by MSF

Accountabilities:
- Support the PMR in the overall functioning of the medical programs in the project through delegated tasks and fully assuming the PMR responsibilities and accountabilities in case of absence.
- Monitor and evaluate medical programs and regularly suggest improvements if needed.
- Visit the project sites regularly in consultation with PMR to support health teams and to ensure compliance with MSF protocols and guidelines.
- Participate in exploratory missions and situation assessments to identify healthcare needs when required.
- Assist the PMR in the annual planning process, budget review, project proposal and reports to donors.
- Ensure the proper implementation of medical protocols and the quality of care provided to the beneficiaries in all the medical points supported by MSF.
- In collaboration with the Nuring Activity Manager (NAM) and MAM (Medical Activity Manager) ensure that the ER admission criterias are well implemented and adhered to by all medical staffs.
- Ensure the quality of data and regular rigorous epi-data analysis of medical activities of the project and reporting and contribute to project readjustment as well as the Annual Plan.
- In collaboration with the different activity managers ensure that all MSF protocols are respected .
- In collaboration with MHAM (Mental Health Activity Manager) and MAM, ensure the integration of MH activities in all medical programs especially on psychiatric care and victims of violence with special attention to Survivors of sexual violence and abuse.
- Follow up of the drugs consumption and comparison with the HMIS data
- In Collaboration with health Community Engagement team, consolidate the Health Promotion activities linked to health facility programs by providing it with adequate message to the community according to the project needs.
- Ensure good cooperation with authorities and different actors through regular communication / meeting with different stakeholders at Local government level.

Education:
Medical doctor or nursing or paramedical degree. Desirable specialization or training in Tropical Medicine or related studies.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of work experience related to the degree/diploma.
- Diverse and strong health knowledge including at least 1 year working in humanitarian settings with MSF (or another humanitarian organization) in the field.
Languages:
Good level of English and Arabic in mandatory
Knowledge:
Essential computer literacy (word, excel and internet), HMIS knowledge is an added value.
