Development Field Coordinator – Gaza

St John Eye Hospital is the leading provider of eye care in East Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza Strip.  The main Hospital is located in Jerusalem and has a second Hospital in Hebron and Clinics in Gaza and Anabta.  In addition to our extensive range of specialist services we also provide support within the community through our Outreach Teams which travels throughout the West Bank.


We have a vacancy for Development Field Coordinator- Gaza to work on full-time basis. The objective of this post is to provide assistance to the Head of Development & Grants in establishing a network of donors, potential partners and international organization working in the Gaza strip including identification of potential donors and partners, writing funding applications, manage the day-to-day projects following any successful application.

You should have the following:

-A minimum of a B.A degree in Business Administration, Management, Development,  or Project Management and/or any relevant field with 3 years of extensive experience in Fundraising and Project Management.
-Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
-Ability to communicate effectively with professionals and patients.
-Ability to travel regularly to Jerusalem and the West Bank and occasionally abroad.
-Good interpersonal skills.
-Ability to function effectively in challenging situations.
-Strong Computer skills
-Flexible on working hours
-Ability to communicate (read, write and speak) fluently in English. (All hospital documents are in English) and Arabic.
