Development Officer

Founded in 2004, the Palestinian Wastewater Engineers Group (PWEG) is a Palestinian NGO based in Al-Bireh.

PWEG specializes in:
-Developing environmental research.
-Preserving and developing environmental and water resources.
-Supporting the development of sewage services and food security.
-Supporting rural and urban development in line with national stakeholder plans.
-Supporting local authorities, particularly in vulnerable and marginalised communities, to develop their capabilities in the fields of water and environment in line with national stakeholder plans.

PWEG's mission is to contribute to the eradication of environmental pollution and the protection of water resources in Palestine by providing innovative and efficient solution on a local and governmental level.
PWEGis interested in recruiting a development officer for their main office in Al Bireh, Ramallah.

Job Title:Development officer

Qualifications:
-BA or MA in public relations, development, or social studies or any related field.
-Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in organizational development, previous international experience is a plus.
-Fluency in English.
-Holders of Jerusalem ID are preferable.

Skills:
-Strong abilities in report and proposal writing in English.
-Ability to seek new funding possibilities.
-Strong communication skills.
-Ability in conducting assessment and analysis studies.
-Excellent English speaking and writing skills.
-Adapt skills in project development.
-Proficiency in Word, Access, Powerpoint, and Excel.
-Proficient skills in cooperation and team-building.
-Ability to produce accurate and high-quality work.
