Director of Advancement
Bethlehem University in the Holy Land is seeking a very well experienced and highly qualified candidate to serve as Director of Advancement at Bethlehem University. The Director will be responsible for devising, managing, and supervising the implementation of the advancement office activities and services, to increase, diversify and sustain support in the full spectrum of philanthropic funding for Bethlehem University. As a grant writer, public relations person, and skillful communicator, the Director of Advancement Office will organize fundraising events, build up positive relationships with local and international stakeholders, and execute annual development and communication plans.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Marketing, Public Relations, or other applicable field required; Master’s degree preferred in any related field.
- At least five years of professional and successful fundraising experience with a proven track record in marketing or senior administrative and leadership experience, preferably in higher education or non-profit establishments.
- Proven record of knowledge in the full spectrum of philanthropic fund development, including capital campaigns, annual giving, special gift events, prospect research, grant-writing, and proposal development.
Required Competencies:
Strong sense of integrity and ethical conduct, leadership skills and attentive to details, ability to work autonomously and in a team, excellent oral and written Arabic and English communication skills, demonstrate high-quality research and grant-writing skills. Strong understanding of marketing and promotional strategies, the ability to organize time effectively, maintains confidentiality and has skills in budget preparation.
