CHF International-West Bank and Gaza Country Office seek to recruit highly qualified candidates to assume the following positions:

Responsibilities of the incumbent will include:

-Managing a team of finance officers and accountants and providing all training required to enhance work efficiency;
-Review and improve the country office financial control and processing systems to ensure full compliance with CHF International and Donor regulations and enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the finance team;
-Implementing and monitoring proper accounting and financial management systems per CHF internal policies and USAID regulations;
-In cooperation with program directors undertake overall budgetary planning, control and reporting including; reconciling, adjusting and maintaining budgets and producing and analyzing expenditure reports;
-Producing and analyzing financial statements and other required financial reports for CHF field management, home office and donors;
-Preparing CHF field programs for all internal and external audits; acting as the point of contact for all audit activities;
-Providing technical assistance to staff in implementing and complying with financial and administrative procedures to ensure compliance with regulations;
-Serving as the financial liaison to CHF HQ, local NGOs, other implementing partners, implementing units, and international donors.

Qualifications

-Advanced degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA preferred;
-Minimum of ten years experience in the Director of Finance or Chief Finance Officer role for complex and large-scale donor funded programs;
-Extensive knowledge of USAID rules and regulations for cooperative agreements and grants management;
-Experience working with various implementing partners, ensuring transparent and timely financial decisions in a complex environment;
-Demonstrated management and leadership skills working with large, complex USAID funded programs preferably in West Bank and Gaza;
-Fluency in Arabic and English, written and verbal, required
